About the Role
The Peace Committee of the Republic of Somaliland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage our HR functions. The HR Manager will play a key role in fostering a professional, inclusive, and well-supported working environment that aligns with our mission of peacebuilding and national unity.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with organizational goals.

Manage the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.

Support and guide managers on employee relations, performance, and disciplinary matters.

Oversee employee training, development, and capacity-building initiatives.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR management experience.

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and conflict-sensitive approaches.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience working with non-governmental organizations or government institutions is an asset.

Proficiency in Somali and English is required.
