Established on January 21, 2025, under Presidential Decree No. 01/012025, the Peace Committee is a national institution dedicated to promoting peace, unity, and stability across Somaliland.
Our motto, “Nabadi waa Nolol” (which translates to “Peace is Life”), reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering a harmonious and resilient society where all citizens can thrive in a secure and stable environment.

Strengthening peace across Somaliland by fostering tolerance, coexistence, and mutual respect.
Conflict Resolution Efforts
Identifying and addressing the root causes of conflicts to prevent escalation and mediating disputes through impartial mechanisms.

Implementing reconciliation programs to heal divisions and historical grievances.

Providing recommendations to the government on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and security matters.
